Client wins award for marketing campaign

Klick Solutions joined forces with another Wolverhampton based design agency Breadlegs to conceive a marketing campaign for a Leicester based air conditioning supplier and installer McVeigh Technical Solutions.

McVeigh along with other UK suppliers were challenged by Daikin the world famous manufacture of air con units to raise awareness of environmentally friendly new units that will phase out existing non green friendly systems in a Daikin campaign entitled R22R.

In excess of 20,000 air conditioning units in the UK urgently need replacing due to dramatic changes in industry legislation. The drive for improved energy efficiency led to the current EC Regulation EC2037/2000 effective from 1st October 2000.

McVeigh Technical Solutions deliver air conditioning and mechanical services across the UK to a huge range of commercial and domestic properties and therefore wanted a visible campaign that centred around their commitment to providing energy efficient and environmentally friendly products to their customers.

Klick Solutions worked with Breadlegs to conceive a theme and message that was carried across advertising and direct mail campaigns to both existing and potentially new customers with the striking heading:

Are you turning the air blue… When it should be green?

Such was the success of the campaign, Daikin awarded McVeigh as the winners of the best awareness campaign in the UK with managing director Gary McVeigh handed a set of keys to a brand new Toyota car as his prize.

Gary was delighted with the award when it was announced at Daikins lavish annual D1 awards ceremony held on board the Royal Yacht Brittania in February.

Daikin revealed there had been in excess of a hundred high calibre entries submitted for final consideration of the panel however, in the final evaluation, the panel judged each application on three main areas, volume of equipment replaced, raising awareness amongst potential or existing clients and future initiatives to continue the initial success of the campaign.

An example of the work supplied by Klick Solutions and Breadlegs in the form of a direct mail shot is featured below:
